What is Mi2?
Mi2 is an opportunity provided by Southeast Christian Church, for young leaders, ages 19-26, to engage is global missions. You will spend a summer with a strategically selected global partner to learn first-hand what it means to serve in full-time global missions. Mi2 is designed to help you understand your calling and build a healthy view of global missions.
What’s Unique about Mi2?
The most unique piece of Mi2 is the intentionality in our preparation in which we lay a foundation to build a healthy missions philosophy that incorporates a healthy holistic view of missions engagement. This isn’t about what we do... it’s about why we do what we do. This foundation is critical as we replicate healthy model of ministry anywhere in life. Participants will learn first hand principles of holistic development, sustainability, accountability, partnership, and enabling the indigenous person.
Who is Mi2 for?
Mi2 is designed for young leaders, ages 19-26, who are considering or wrestling with a calling to missions and are willing to spend a summer diligently working to challenge their perspectives and foundations of missions.
When is the program?
Mi2 is a summer program hosted each year. Interns may have the opportunity to extend their three-month experience after they have completed the main program.
How much does it cost?
Mi2 cost for 2016 will be unique for each field, the cost includes all transportation to and from country, pre-retreat, post-retreat, programs, meals, and lodging. Students are responsible for their transportation to and Louisville, KY, snacks on field, and any souvenirs.
